Getting the mail is one of the highlights of my day....I can't explain why. Maybe it stems from when Lee and I were first married and when he was underway, the only communication we had was through letters. I also had a grandmother that was a profound letter writer...I still have many of her letters. She loved sending letters so much, that as he eyesight failed her, she had my Aunt Grace write them for her. It is nice in this day and age, when everything is all done electronically to get a "real" letter or note in the mail. I was thrilled to get one last week from my Aunt Myrna. It was a sweet card with pictures tucked inside. The above picture was included...my cousins and my Aunt Margaret. Also, there were pictures from my cousin Dale's service..pictures of flowers and such. It was really nice to know she remembered me in such a way...and I will return the gesture with a thank you note....a written one that will go out in today's mail.
In baby news....Arrielle had a great check up last Friday! Everything is going perfectly! This Thursday (also Elliott's 19th birthday!!) they will have an ultrasound that will hopefully let us know if we are on team pink or team blue!! I am very excited, because Mason and Arrielle are letting me be on speaker phone...so I can hear the news! Elliott thinks it is a girl, and Lee and I think it is a boy. I can hardly wait!!!
